During the Visit

What should I wear?

Bring a jacket. We are at the top of a hill, 4km out to sea, so the weather is typically windy and a few degrees cooler than elsewhere in Dublin.

Otherwise, we have all the joys of the Irish weather.

Do you serve tea and coffee?

No. We don’t have the capacity to provide refreshments, but there are many great cafes and restaurants nearby in Howth village and port.

Can we buy plants?

We are not a nursery, but we often have some extra plants available.

Can we take photographs?

We are very happy that you take photos of the garden, plants and art. Please omit the house.

When posting on social media, please tag us with @ardangarden so your friends can find us.

Can we buy Conall’s sculptures?

Yes, many of the sculptures in the garden are available for sale.

Conall often makes new sculptures as commissions. So speak with Conall and he will be happy to explore ideas with you.
